Abstract

Purpose: To examine the relationship between the digital modernization of Ukrainian enterprises and their innovation capacity, financial security, and inclusive economic development during 2021–2025.

Methodology/Approach: The study used a secondary empirical desk-based approach based on open-access statistical databases, analytical reports, enterprise financial data, and economic indicators. Four clusters were analyzed: enterprise digitalization, innovation capacity, financial security and resilience, and inclusive development.

Originality/Relevance: The research provides a comprehensive assessment of the effects of digital modernization on enterprise development and economic recovery in Ukraine.

Key Findings: Enterprise digitalization showed the highest mean normalized value (0.63), while financial security and resilience reached 0.57, recovering from 0.36 in 2022 to 0.76 in 2025. Innovation capacity recorded the lowest mean value (0.45), suggesting that digital adoption does not automatically generate innovation. Inclusive development achieved a mean value of 0.52, reflecting gradual improvements in access to digital services and support systems.

Theoretical/Methodological Contributions: The study demonstrates that digital modernization is most effective when supported by financial stability, institutional capacity, and access to economic opportunities, and proposes a multidimensional framework for evaluating digital transformation outcomes.
