0.1 Article Processing Charge (APC)
By submitting to the Journal of Interdisciplinary Knowledge, the author(s) acknowledge that if the manuscript is accepted for publication, an Article Processing Charge (APC) R$ 950,00 (novecentos e cinquenta reais) – for Brazilian authors; USD 180.00 (one hundred and eighty U.S. dollars) – for foreign authors. will be applied. Each article may include up to five (5) authors. There are no submission or evaluation fees, and the APC is only due upon acceptance. Authors who participate as peer reviewers through the Credits Review platform may receive progressive discounts on future APCs. Until 2024, publication in the journal was free of charge. Beginning in 2025, the APC model was introduced to ensure the editorial and technological sustainability of the PromptAI Academy Journal.

1. Originality and Exclusivity
Manuscripts submitted to the Journal of Interdisciplinary Knowledge must be original and unpublished and may not be under review by another publication. Papers previously presented in scientific conference proceedings are acceptable, provided they include substantial revisions and new scientific contributions beyond the original version. If the paper has been previously made available online as a working paper, discussion text, or similar format, the author must remove it from circulation during the review process and ensure that, if accepted, publication occurs exclusively in this journal.

2. Formatting and Style
The submitted work must comply with the Author Guidelines available on the About the Journal page, following the required formatting, style, and bibliographic standards.

3. Authorship
A maximum of five (5) authors is allowed per article, listed in order of their individual contribution to the manuscript.

4. File Format and Size
The submission file must be in Microsoft Word format (.doc or .docx) and should not exceed 2 MB in size.

5. Language and Responsibility
When submitting the article, the author(s) acknowledge that:
a) The manuscript must be grammatically correct, and authors are responsible for ensuring professional language review before submission. Reviewers will not correct grammar or spelling.
b) The article, once accepted, must fully comply with the linguistic and stylistic norms of English (U.S.), Portuguese, or Spanish, depending on the language of submission.
c) The opinions and positions expressed in the published articles are the sole responsibility of the author(s) and do not necessarily reflect the views of the Editor or the Editorial Board. -
6. Letter to the Editor
Authors must submit a Letter to the Editor (maximum one page) as a Supplementary Document, explaining the scientific contribution and originality of the paper. If the manuscript is derived from a conference presentation, this must be stated in the letter, along with a summary of the main improvements made since the previous version.

7. Originality Declaration
All manuscripts submitted and published in the Journal of Interdisciplinary Knowledge must be original and not previously published in any other journal, book, or academic manuscript.

8. Peer Review Commitment
Upon submission, all authors and co-authors agree to act as peer reviewers for up to two (2) manuscripts submitted by other authors, following the Double Blind Review system.

9. Structured Abstract and Template
Each submission must include a structured abstract (maximum 250 words) in the same language as the manuscript, following the journal’s standard model. Authors must be listed in order of contribution to the research. The official manuscript template is available at: JKI journal .
